So much more than halide analysis

Arsenic speciation using IC-ICP/MS.

As the connection between adverse health and the species of chromium, arsenic, perchlorate, and selenium are becoming clearer, analytical requirements are becoming more stringent. Detection limits are getting lower and speciation is becoming more important.

So much more than halide analysis

Combining the separation of IC with detection techniques such as Amperometry, Mass-Spectrometry and ICP-MS allows the analysis of a broad range of toxic species at significantly lower detection limits than any of the techniques on their own.

The article “Modern Detection Systems in Ion Chromatography” deals with the determination of bromate, perchlorate, and organic acids by IC-MS as well as with the detection of inorganic and organic chromium, arsenic, and selenium species by IC-ICP/MS.
