Mining Seminar – Metrohm Process Analysers and Retsch Particle Size Distribution

Metrohm Australia has the pleasure of inviting you to a mining seminar in Townsville.

Metrohm process analysers are very powerful tools to control various processes.

They can be used in many industries like, for example drinking water, waste water, chemical plants, metal refineries, fertilizer, explosives, petrochemical, chloralkali, power, food and beverage.

Metrohm Process analysers can measure nearly any chemical species directly in a process. This seminar will help customers understand what can be done using modern Metrohm process instrumentation.

When a process analyser is in charge of the analyses, the measurement frequency is significantly higher, maximizing the process efficiency. With the help of an analyser, the process can be fine-tuned, and in the case of failures, the process can be corrected rapidly. Depending of the application, the savings can be in the hundreds of thousands of dollars per year.

Retsch particle size analysis

Particle size analysis is a critical step during mineral processing.

This analysis is often required during material size reduction stages of crushing and grinding (wet/dry) to mineral liberation processes such as gravity or magnetic separation, flotation or leaching of materials or slurry handling processes.

Retsch Technology provides Dynamic Image Analysis (DIA) for online continuous monitoring or free flowing materials such as rock and ore.

Laboratory solutions for slurries and fine agglomerated materials are also available. Retsch also offer a wide range of crushers, grinders, sieve shakers and sample dividers for the lab and process environments.

Who should attend?

This seminar is aimed at engineers, process owners, chemists, operators and technicians involved in the control of process parameters.
